القصاص
Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a man holds a man while another kills the one being held, the killer is to be killed and the one who held him is to be imprisoned."
عن ابن عمر -رضي الله عنهما- عن النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم-: «إذا أمسك الرجلُ الرجلَ وقَتَلَهُ الآخَرُ يُقْتَلُ الذي قَتَلَ، ويُحْبَسُ الذي أمْسَكَ».
شرح الحديث :
This Hadīth indicates that if someone takes hold of a person so that a third person kills him, then the killer is to be killed and the one who held him is to be imprisoned until he dies as punishment for him. Indeed, the one who held him facilitated the killing by taking hold of that person until he was killed.
