المقتدر
كلمة (المقتدر) في اللغة اسم فاعل من الفعل اقْتَدَر ومضارعه...
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) when the verse of Li‘ān was sent down, say: "Any woman who brings her family (a child) who does not belong to them has nothing with Allah, and Allah will not admit her into His Paradise. And any man who disowns his child while he looks at him, Allah will veil Himself from him and disclose him in the presence of the early and the late generations."
This Hadīth tells about the punishment of certain people. One of them is a woman who brings a child resulting from adultery with another man to the bed of her husband. She does not receive Allah's mercy and pleasure. Rather, she is subject to Allah's wrath due to the tremendous crime which she has committed, namely, corrupting her marital relationship and mixing the lineage. Another punishment is inflicted upon a man who disowns his child although he knows that the child is his. Allah will not look at this man on the Day of Judgment and will prevent him from looking at Him. Allah will also disclose this man in front of the creatures on the Day of Judgment for having denied his child's attribution to his lineage.
