‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Abbās (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I was commanded to prostrate on seven bones: the forehead - and he pointed to his nose - the hands, the knees, and the toes."

شرح الحديث :

Allah, the Exalted, commanded His Prophet Muhammad (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) to prostrate to Him on seven organs, which are the noblest parts of the human body, so that he would worship Allah with devotion and humility. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) named the number and then gave details so that his message may easily be received and memorized. The first of these organs is the forehead with the nose. The second and the third are the two hands; the palms have to touch the ground. The fourth and the fifth are the two knees. The sixth and the seventh are the toes of the two feet, which should be directed towards the Qiblah.
