المحسن
كلمة (المحسن) في اللغة اسم فاعل من الإحسان، وهو إما بمعنى إحسان...
‘Adiyy ibn Hātim (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Guard yourselves against Hellfire, even with half a date." In another version, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There will be none among you, but his Lord will talk to him, and there will be no interpreter between him and Allah. He will look to his right and see nothing but his deeds that he has put forward, and he will look to his left and see nothing but his deeds that he has put forward, and he will look in front of him and see nothing but Hellfire facing him. So guard yourselves against Hellfire, even with half a date, and if you cannot find one, then with a kind word."
Allah, Glorified and Exalted, will talk to everyone individually on the Day of Judgment without the use of an interpreter. So a person will look to his right and see nothing but the deeds that he has done and then look to his left and see nothing but the deeds that he has done, and then he will look in front of him and see nothing but Hellfire facing him. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) then told us to guard ourselves against Hellfire even by giving half a date or less in charity. And if anyone cannot afford to donate half a date and protect himself by it from Hell-fire, he should guard himself against the Hellfire by a good word, as good deeds will indeed protect those who do them from Hellfire.
