المعنى الاصطلاحي :

Surrendering to Allah through monotheism, submitting to Him through obedience, and disowning polytheism and polytheists.

الشرح المختصر :

"Islam" (submission): Levels of "islam": 1. Submission and surrendering to Allah's universal and predestined commands willingly or unwillingly. There is no reward for this submission. 2. Submission and surrendering to the Shariah ordained by Allah. This is the level of "islam" for which one is praised and rewarded. Categories of the second level of "islam": 1. General: It refers to the religion brought by all the prophets from Nuh (Noah) to Muhammad, peace be upon them, and stands for worshiping Allah alone without partners and carrying out His laws. 2. Specific: It refers to the message brought by our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him. Levels of the specific category: 1. Apparent sayings and deeds represented by the five main deeds of Islam and their associated acts, such as the Prayer. 2. Inner beliefs represented by the six articles of faith and their associated beliefs.
