التعريف :

A term implying that the follow-up question is of the same type as the previous one to which a ruling has been given, but the ruling is more applicable to the second question, whether it is obligatory, recommended, reprehensible or prohibited. Thus, the follow-up question is ruled to be ‘more obligatory’ or ‘more strictly prohibited’.

المعنى الاصطلاحي :

The time when a child reaches the age of puberty and becomes mature.

الشرح المختصر :

"Ashudd" (puberty and maturity) is a stage that starts when two conditions are met: 1. When the stage of childhood comes to an end, by appearing the signs of puberty, by which one becomes competent for religious assignment. 2. When sings of maturity are clear. This includes responsible handling of wealth, or responsible handling of both wealth and matters of religion. Being responsible in handling matters of religion means that a person does not commit a forbidden act which may compromise their credibility. Being responsible in handling wealth means that a person does not extravagantly spend their wealth on futile things. So a minor is not considered to have reached the stage of "ashudd" even though they might be mature and responsible, and the foolish one who wastes their wealth and extravagantly spends it is not considered to have reached the "ashudd" even if they have reached puberty.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
