الوتر
كلمة (الوِتر) في اللغة صفة مشبهة باسم الفاعل، ومعناها الفرد،...
The sides of the earth with what they contain of occurrences and creatures; and the zones of the heavens and what they contain of marvels and signs.
"Ufuq" (horizon) is the farthest extent that one can see, or the line at which the earth's surface and the sky appear to meet from all directions: East, West, North, and South. Allah, the Exalted, has clarified for every rational person that He is the Lord and the One Who deserves to be worshiped alone, without any partners, through His amazing and wonderful creations within His heavens and earth, like the sun, the moon, the stars, the trees, the mountains, the animals, the oceans, and all other creations. Pondering over Allah's signs, such as the creation of the universe with an organized and precise system, is known as "dalālat al-āfāq" (indications of the horizons). It is one of the great signs of Allah that indicate His lordship and His oneness, and that the Qur’an is the truth from Allah, the Exalted.
"Ufuq" (pl. āfāq): sides, extremities. Original meaning: vastness of the distance between the boundaries of something.
