الشرح المختصر
Proofs that establish rulings are of two types: 1."Adillah naqliyyah" (textual proofs): which are conveyed through transmission. These proofs include the Qur’an, the Sunnah, the consensus, the Companions' statements, and the laws of the previous nations. 2. "Adillah ‘aqliyyah" (intellectual proofs): They include analogy, juristic preference, consideration of public interests, and presumption of continuity.
