The area where the human forearm is connected to the hand.
"Zand" (wrist/forearm bones) is the part of the body that connects the human forearm to the hand. There are two "zands" in each hand: 1. The radius, which is the forearm bone on the side of the thumb. 2. The ulna, which is the forearm bone on the side of the little finger.
"Zand": a part of the human body, i.e. the end of the forearm bones where the forearm joins the hand. Human beings have two forearm bones in each hand.
