المعنى الاصطلاحي
The Shariah that Allah has sent down to his slaves, which leads to obeying and pleasing Him.
الشرح المختصر
''Sabeel” (path) consists of whatever leads to something, be it good or evil. When it is ascribed to Allah, "sabeel" means everything that Allah commands of good. Since goodness is a means to earn Allah’s mercy, it is the "Sabeel" towards it. The "Sabeel" of Allah is a general term indicating every sincere action that one takes to get closer to Allah, such as observing mandatory and optional acts of worship and other voluntary acts. When it is used in general term, the "Sabeel" of Allah usually means jihad. Its frequent use made jihad the exclusive meaning of “Allah's Sabeel.”
