المعنى الاصطلاحي
A child born through unlawful sexual intercourse.
الشرح المختصر
"Walad az-zinā" (illegitimate child) is a child who was conceived by his mother outside wedlock or whose mother was a slave-girl who was impregnated by other than her master. It is also called "walad ghayr shar‘i" (illegitimate child); Such a child is attributed to the mother because he is the result of unlawful sexual intercourse, which prevents him from being legally attributed to the man.
