The proper performance of a deed by someone who is competent for religious duties in a way that he is not required to do it again.
"Ijzā’" (proper performance of a duty) is to sufficiently perform a deed within or outside its prescribed time regardless of whether it was formerly performed in a deficient manner or not. The intention here is to drop the duty of having to do it again. This can be achieved when the relevant conditions are fulfilled and the impediments are absent.
"Ijzā’": enrichment. Original meaning: being sufficient. Other meanings: convincing, making up for, inserting, representing.
