التعريف :
The box in which the body of a deceased person is put.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
The box wherein deceased is placed and buried due to a need or a benefit.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Tāboot": a chest or box used to protect commodities. Derived from "tawb", which means returning, and repenting. Coffin is called "tāboot" because anyone who leaves it, is usually followed by returning another one.
