To bind an action to an endless time span.
"Ta’beed" (perpetuation): to bind action, whether it is verbal or physical, to an endless period of time. There are actions that must not be bound by a fixed time limit, such as marriage and sale. Other actions, however, might be, such as rent. There are actions that may be bound to "ta’beed" and "tawqeet" (fixed time limit), such as the guarantee.
"Ta’beed": eternization, continuity. Original meaning: to last forever. Derived from "abad", which means time and a long period of time.
A ruling remains valid forever, without any time limitation.
