التعريف :
Miscarriage as a result of an action by the pregnant woman herself or someone else. The embryo is thus born dead or alive, but does not live. It is partly formed.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
Expulsion of the fetus from the womb before it is fully grown or before completing the period of pregnancy.
الشرح المختصر :
"Ijhād" (abortion) is the expulsion of the fetus from the womb before completing its growth or its due time because it is unable to survive.

"Ijhād": dropping, throwing, such as abortion of a fetus before its due time.
