Generating an act by means of another related act; for example, generating the key movement by means of the hand movement.
“Tawallud” (Process of generating/producing) refers to the external things that are generated by a person"s actions. In fact, such things are produced by both man and other external factors as both are involved in the process of “tawallud” (generation). Example: a person throwing someone with a stone; here, the person produces the act of "throwing" the stone, which reaches its destination not only by virtue of the human act of throwing but also by help of the stone itself and the air, which are both created by Allah. So man is not the sole producer of such generated acts.
“Tawallud”: generating. It is derived from “tawallada”, which means that something was originated, produced, or generated from another thing through an intermediary. Other meanings: the concept of origination, the process of generation itself.
According to some philosophers, that minds and souls are generated by God himself in a process going back to the beginning of time and inseparable for him. The universe is also generated by God in the same process. They refer to this by the words cause and effect.
