التعريف :
To treat the point of amputation of a thief’s hand or leg with boiled oil or fat, or to cauterise it with a heated piece of metal so as to prevent bleeding.

Treating the place where an organ was cut off to stop the bleeding.
الشرح المختصر :
"Hasm" (post-amputation treatment) is the treatment of a place on the body where an organ was amputated, either by cauterization or by immersing it in boiling oil or fat in order to plug the blood vessels and stop the bleeding.
