The plant that results from sowing seeds in the soil.
"Zar’" (crops) - in Fiqh terminology - is defined as the plant that was planted by someone and harvested some time afterwards. Accordingly, trees are excluded from this term, as well as wild plants that are found on mountains and the like.
"Zar‘": crops resulting from planted seeds. Other meanings: tilling, sowing seeds, germination and development, offspring.
Whatever is grown in farmland by planting seeds, and whatever is green and fresh.
