taste (الطَّعْمُ)

التعريف :
What is recognised through the taste sense, so as to say: this is sweet while that is sour.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
What is sensed through tasting with the tongue, i.e. sweetness or bitterness.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Ta"m": what is sensed through the tongue of sweetness and bitterness and the like. It is used to denote what is desired of food.
