التعريف :


The inability of a married couple, or one of them, to reproduce at an age when it is normal for people to beget children.

المعنى الاصطلاحي :


A condition that prevents reproduction in males and females.

الشرح المختصر :


"‘Uqm" (sterility), as defined by modern medicine, is the non-occurrence of pregnancy despite the couple's attempts to conceive through full regular sexual intercourse for a year or more without using contraceptives.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :


"‘Uqm": inability to produce offspring; also, the womb's inability to carry a fetus.
