Zayd ibn Aslam (may Allah have mercy upon him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The seven heavens, in comparison to the Kursi, are only like seven dirhams thrown into a shield."
عن زيد بن أسلم -رحمه الله عن النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- قال: "ما السماوات السبع في الكرسي إلا كدراهم سبعة ألقيت في تُرْسٍ".
شرح الحديث :
In this Hadīth, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) speaks of the greatness of the Kursi and the Throne of Allah. The seven heavens, vast and dense as they are, in comparison to the vastness of the Kursi, are like seven small coins thrown in a very vast open area. How much space would they take up? Only a small insignificant space. Although the Hadīth is classified as weak, there is no doubt about the greatness of the Kursi and the Throne.
