المعنى الاصطلاحي :

"Al-Ākharan" is a term in the Hanafi school of thought which refers to the two Imams: Abu Yusuf and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan.

الشرح المختصر :

"Al-Ākharan" (the Two Disciples) is a special term in the Hanafi school which refers to the two Imams: Abu Yusuf and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan, may Allah have mercy upon both of them. They are the two disciples and companions of Imam Abu Hanifah. They are also called "As-Sāhibān" (the Two Companions).

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :

"Ākharān"(sing. ākhar): "ākhar" refers to one of two people or two things. It also means "another". It is derived from "ta’akhkhur", which means coming late according to time, place, or mention.
