التعريف :
That one goes to visit a sick person and comfort him or her.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
To visit a person suffering from sickness or weakness that left him unhealthy.
الشرح المختصر :
"`Iyaadat-ul-mareed", or visiting the sick, is a refined etiquette that Islam encouraged Muslims to observe and made it one of the foremost rights of Muslims upon each other. It is to visit a fellow Muslim if he becomes ill or suffers any weakness that affects his health, whether it prevents him from going out and mixing with people or not.
