المعطي
كلمة (المعطي) في اللغة اسم فاعل من الإعطاء، الذي ينوّل غيره...
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever spends the Night of Qadr standing (in voluntary prayer) out of faith and seeking reward from Allah, his previous sins will be forgiven."
The Hadīth mentions the virtue of spending Laylat all-Qadr (Night of Decree) standing in prayer and encourages it. Whoever stands in prayer during Laylat al-Qadr, believing in it and in its virtue, hoping for the reward of Allah, the Exalted, not seeking to show off or gain fame or anything else that counters sincerity and expectation of reward from Allah, all of his minor sins will be forgiven. As to the major sins, if they relate to the rights of Allah, the Exalted, then they require sincere repentance. If they relate to the rights of people, then it is obligatory to repent to Allah, the Exalted, and to free one's liability by restoring others' rights.
