‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that some of the companions of the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) were shown Laylat al-Qadr in their dreams to be in the last seven nights of Ramadan. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: “I see that your dreams have coincided with each other upon the last seven nights. So, whosoever seeks it, let him seek it in the last seven nights.”

شرح الحديث :

Laylat al-Qadr is a noble and honorable night, in which good deeds are multiplied; sins are forgiven; and affairs are decreed. When the Companions (may Allah be pleased with him) learned of its status and importance, they wished to know its timing. However, Allah, out of His wisdom, hid its timing; so that people may attempt to seek it out with more diligence in worship, which, in return, will benefit them. Some of the Companions saw in their dreams that it was during the last ten nights of Ramadan. When the Messenger learnt about this, he said that since all of their dreams coincided that it was during the last ten nights; so, whoever is seeking it out should do so on the last then nights, particularly the odd nights of the last tenth, more likely the twenty seventh.
