شرح الحديث :

In this Hadīth, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) informs us that no one will enter Hellfire, temporarily or permanently, if he performs the Fajr and ‘Asr prayers regularly. This is because at the time of the Fajr prayer a person desires sleep and its pleasure, and at the time of ‘Asr he is preoccupied with his daytime activities, business, and the preparation of food. So prayer at this time indicates one’s complete devotion and love of worship, and it follows that he will necessarily offer the rest of the five daily prayers. Such a person should be careful not to commit sins, major or minor, and if he commits one, he should repent quickly. So his minor sins, related to the Almighty Allah, are readily expiated and he will never enter Hellfire. And Allah knows best. Jarīr ibn ‘Abdullāh al-Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: As we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) he looked at the full moon and said: "You will see your Lord in the Hereafter as you see this moon…" In other words, the believers will see Allah, the Almighty, in Paradise just as well as they can see the moon when it is full. This does not mean that Allah is like the moon, for there is nothing like Him and He is far exalted above that. The Hadīth only serves to liken seeing this to seeing that. Just as we see the full moon clearly with our own eyes, we will see our Lord, the Exalted. Indeed, the greatest, most enjoyable, and matchless pleasure the dwellers of Paradise will have is looking at the countenance of Allah, the Almighty. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) continued: “So try your best to perform the prayers before sunrise and sunset.” Here the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) urges us to offer these two prayers in the most proper manner, which includes attending them in congregation. The Hadīth indicates that the regular observance of the Fajr and ‘Asr prayers is one of the reasons for being able to look at the face of the Almighty Allah.
