الفقه أصول الفقه

التعريف :

To pass over worshippers sitting in the mosque, on fridays, raising one’s legs over their shoulders or their heads.

المعنى الاصطلاحي :

Separating people who are sitting next to each other in order to pass between them.

الشرح المختصر :

"Takhatt-ir-Riqaab" (stepping over necks) - meaning: passing between people sitting next to each other - without a valid reason is bad conduct. When a person walks in the mosque and forces himself between people, he annoys them. This is done by separating them to pass between them; by using his hands to push their bodies apart; or by raising his leg near their shoulders, heads, or necks to get in front of them.
