Oneness of Lordship (تَوْحِيدُ الرُّبْوبِيَّة)

التعريف :
To acknowledge that God is the creator, lord, owner and provider for all beings and that he alone gives life and causes death, brings benefit and causes harm, and that he answers supplication and is able to do everything. None has any share in any of these.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
The firm belief and acknowledgement that Allah the Almighty is the only One in charge of creating things, provision of sustenance, and controlling all affairs of the creation.
الشرح المختصر :
"Tawhid-ur-Rububiyyah" is to believe in the existence of Allah the Almighty, and that He is unique in His Actions. It involves one's firm acknowledgement that Allah alone is the Lord and Owner of everything, and the Creator and Provider of everything. He is the One who gives life and causes death; the One who brings about benefit and causes harm; and the only One who answers supplications in distress. One has to affirm that the complete dominance belongs to Allah and all goodness is in His Hands. Indeed, to Allah belongs the whole matter of disposing and controlling the affairs with no partner with Him.
