"Jannah" is the Abode of eternity and dignity that Allah Most High prepared for His believing slaves, and bestowed upon them therein the honor of looking at His Noble Countenance. It is a place of eternal bliss that no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard, and no mind has ever imagined. It is a perfect bliss unblemished by any shortcoming or annoyance. "Jannah" is thus named because of its bushy trees with their intertwining shady branches. Also, in the life of this world, the reward of Paradise is concealed from people. (Jannah is derived from "jann" which means concealing from sight)
"Jannah": orchard; tall palm trees; overlapping, bushy trees. It is derived from "jann," i.e., concealing something from vision.
