The feeling of delight and pleasure along with tranquility.
"Suroor" (pleasure/delight) is the feeling of delight and pleasure accompanied by tranquility, either for obtaining a benefit or warding off some harm, sooner or later. There are three levels of "suroor": 1. "Suroor" resulting from enjoying the taste of faith, turning towards Allah, being close to Him, and worshipping Him. 2. "Suroor" resulting from rejoicing at the blessings and bounties granted by Allah, the Almighty. Indeed, spiritual blessings are far better and more important than physical ones. 3. "Suroor" resulting from doing goodness and conveying it to others.
“Suroor”: joy, happiness. Opposite: "huzn" (grief). Derived from "israar", which means concealment. Other meanings: cheerfulness, rejoicing.
