التعريف :
To treat a patient, giving him or her the necessary medicine to cure the disease.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
The attempt to repulse a disease and achieve recovery.
الشرح المختصر :
"‘Ilāj" (medical treatment) is man's attempt to get rid of the disease by eliminating its symptoms and causes entirely or diminishing them, to reach a state of balance and stability.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"‘Ilāj": curing and providing medical treatment. "Mu‘ālij": therapist. Original meaning: practicing and engaging in an activity. Other meanings: mending and fixing.
