Acknowledgement that someone else is one’s own child.
المعنى الاصطلاحي :
A man's claim that he is the father of a person whose lineage is unknown.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Istilhāq": to annex, to attribute. It is annexing something to something else. The verb "istalhaqa" means: he claimed paternity (of a child).
