الأخلاق الذميمة
Salamah ibn al-Akwa‘ (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man will continue to exalt himself (act arrogantly) until he is recorded amongst the tyrants, and will be, therefore, afflicted with what afflicted them."

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) warned man against being self-conceited, continuing to exalt himself and act arrogantly until he is recorded among the tyrants, and therefore will be afflicted with what afflicted them. If there were no punishment for them except these words of Allah, Blessed and Exalted: {Thus does Allah seals up the heart of every arrogant, tyrant} [Sūrat Ghāfir: 35], that would have been enough for them! Hence, the heart of the tyrant is sealed upon, so that no good reaches it and he does not desist from evil. Although this Hadīth is weak, yet its meaning is affirmed in many Prophetic traditions; which is prohibition of arrogance and haughtiness and warning against it; as the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has the weight of a mustard arrogance in his heart, will not enter Paradise" [Muslim]. In another narration, the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "While a man was dragging his Izār out of pride, the earth swallowed him up, and he will continue sinking into it until the Day of Resurrection." [Al-Bukhāri and Muslim]
