شرح الحديث :

This Hadīth, albeit weak, encourages Muslims to confine themselves to the sufficiency level in terms of housing, eating, and clothing. One needs a house to live in, bread and water to satisfy his hunger, and a garment to cover what needs to be covered of his body. Anything else is among the pleasures, not the rights. This encourages people not to get too distracted by money, for this may impede their worship of Allah, the Almighty.
