المعنى الاصطلاحي

Actions and statements that are done and said by the human beings.

الشرح المختصر

The slaves' actions are from the important principles related to belief in fate. The term refers to every act performed by human beings, such as standing, sitting, moving, and staying still, and every statement, such as speech and the like, whether it was good like acts of obedience or evil like sins and bad deeds. The slaves are the true performers of their actions, and Allah is the creator of their actions. The "slave" refers to the believer and the disbeliever, the pious one and the wrongdoer, the praying one and the fasting one. Slaves possess the ability to carry out their actions, and they also have a will. Allah is the creator of their ability and their will. There are two types of actions: 1. The slave's actions: his acts and statements like his movements, sounds, earnings and writings and all of these are created. 2. Allah’s actions: like His speech, His coming, His rising and His other actions are not created. The Noble Qur'an is an example of that. The words therein that are readable, audible, clear, established and written in the Mus-haf are the speech of Allah that is not created. However, the sounds of the ones who recite it and the movements of their tongues, and their writing, etc. are all created. The slaves' actions are based upon three pillars: 1. Belief that Allah the Most High is the Creator of everything that exists, tangible things, the attributes, the actions, etc. And that Allah’s will is general and includes all creatures. Nothing occurs except by His will, and in accordance with His prior knowledge, and with what He wrote in the Preserved Tablet. 2. Belief that the slaves have the ability and will that make their actions take place and that the slave's ability has an effect just like the rest of means do. Also the belief that the slaves are the actual performers of these actions according to their own choice. They deserve to receive recompense for their deeds, whether praise and reward, or reprimand and punishment. 3. Submission to Fate without argument, dispute, or asking ‘why’ and ‘how’, because Fate is one of the secrets of Allah the Almighty.
