كلمة (الوكيل) في اللغة صفة مشبهة على وزن (فعيل) بمعنى (مفعول) أي:...
Firm belief in the existence of Allah and in the fact that He is the Lord, the Creator, the Owner, the Planner, and the only One worthy of worship; to Him belongs the beautiful names and the exalted attributes, and He is the One and has no partner in all of the above mentioned things.
Belief in Allah is the foundation of religion and the first pillar of faith. It is humans' first duty and the greatest principle in creed from which all beliefs branch. One’s belief in any of the pillars of faith and its branches is not valid except after believing in Allah the Almighty. Belief in Allah includes five things: 1. Belief and affirmation of the existence of Allah’s Holy essence. Allah's existence is proven by the intellect, human nature, and religious texts. 2. Belief and affirmation of the fact that Allah is the Lord of the worlds, the Owner, the Creator, the Provider, the One who controls and plans all of His creatures' affairs. There is no creator, provider, planner, nor owner except Allah. 3. Belief and affirmation of the fact that Allah, Glorified be He, is the true deity, who is alone worthy of worship that includes prayer, fast, supplication, hope and fear and the other types of worship. Also belief in Allah’s legislation and His obedience, and that no one shares that right with Him, not a close angel, nor any prophet. Whoever takes another deity beside Allah, his faith is invalid. 4. Belief and affirmation of His Names and Attributes that Allah has established for Himself in His Book, or in the Sunnah of His Messenger, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, in a way that befits His majesty, without distortion, denial, asking ‘how’ or resembling any of His names or attributes to His creatures. Faith is based upon clear proof and sound knowledge. Some of the proofs that lead to belief in Allah are: The cosmic signs of Allah in the horizons and in human souls, the legislative signs of Allah in the Qur'an and Sunnah, in addition to other proofs. 5. Affirmation of Allah’s oneness; He has no partner in His essence, nor in His names and attributes, nor in is His Lordship nor in His worship. Belief in Allah has many great benefits such as: having a good life in this world and in the hereafter; guidance, safety, and honor; besides winning the pleasure of Allah and His paradise, and many other benefits.
