(الإله) اسمٌ من أسماء الله تعالى؛ يعني استحقاقَه جل وعلا...
The One Who exalts the truth and its people who stick to it.
"Ar-Rāfi‘" (the Raiser/the Exalter) is the One Who raises the truth, be it statements or actions; exalts it; and supports it against falsehood. He exalts His prophets and righteous allies, raises their ranks, aids them against their enemies, and makes them victorious in the end. This is achieved by virtue of the obedience and compliance to His commands and prohibitions to which He has guided them. Allah’s raising of things could be abstract or tangible. Allah raises the ranks of the prophets and the righteous people in this world by reinforcing their words, and raises their degrees in the Hereafter. An example of Allah's physical raising of things is His raising of the Throne by His Ability. Among those who count it as one of Allah's most beautiful names are: Ibn Mandah, Ibn al-‘Arabi, Al-Haleemi, Al-Bayhaqi, Al-Qurtubi, and others. This name is not reported in the Qur’an or the Sunnah in this form. Rather, it is mentioned in connection to Allah, the Almighty, as in His statement (which means): {indeed I will take you and raise you to Myself...} [Āl ‘Imrān: 55]
"Ar-Rāfi‘": the One Who lifts, the One Who bestows honor. Derived from "raf‘", which means lifting. Other meanings of "raf‘": putting forward and bringing close, holding in high esteem, honoring.
