Giving the warrior more than his share from the war booty (for excellent performance).
"Tanfeel" (giving extra war booty) means that the Imam or army commander gives an amount extra to the share of the war booty to the one who shows greater courage or inflicts more losses upon the enemy. "Tanfeel" is done in three ways: 1. The Imam sends a battalion ahead of his army to raid the enemy, so he assigns a specific share of the war booty, such as a third or a quarter, to them. 2. The Imam or commander gives an extra share to some warriors as a reward for the courage which they displayed in fighting and the like. 3. The Imam says: whoever does such-and-such duty receives such-and-such as a reward, like destroying an army barrier, boring a hole in their wall, or the like.
"Tanfeel": giving preference to someone; giving someone an extra share. Other meaning: giving someone a share from the war booty.
