الفقه التربية والسلوك

التعريف :

To watch for moments when others are inattentive so as to look stealthily or eavesdrop at them.

المعنى الاصطلاحي :

Looking at or listening to others secretly without their knowledge and consent.

الشرح المختصر :

"Musāraqah" (snooping/eavesdropping) is listening stealthily and sneaking a look at others. It is an evil trait because it is considered a kind of spying. This includes: 1. Listening stealthily to others' conversations without their knowledge or consent. 2. Looking secretly at others without their permission or knowledge. Honesty requires one to keep his hearing and sight from violating the privacy of others, and from disobeying Allah. Eavesdropping and sneaking a look at what is forbidden are betrayal.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :

"Musāraqah": looking stealthily, snooping. It is derived from "as-sariqah", which means taking something secretly. Other meanings: eavesdropping.
