المعنى الاصطلاحي :
To pour liquid and spill it from a higher place.
الشرح المختصر :
"Irāqah" (spilling): To pour liquid, like water, blood and the like. It falls under two categories: 1-Rightful spilling: like spilling water for the purpose of purifying the land, irrigating plants, and so on. 2-Unrightful spilling: like spilling pure water out of extravagance, or prohibited spilling of a person's blood, like spilling the inviolable blood of a Muslim, or a non-combatant unbelievers.
