شرح الحديث :

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) guided Abu Mūsa to a great treasure from among the treasures of Paradise that would be saved for him to benefit him in the Hereafter, when everyone will be in the direst need of such treasures and saving. He told him that the treasure was the following words: “There is no might or power except with Allah”. These words are a treasure, in the same way someone’s most precious property is, because saying them merits a great and abundant reward. This reward will be saved by Allah for His slaves to benefit from it on the Day of Judgment. The secret behind such a great reward being given for these words is because they imply someone’s submission to Allah and resigning of his affairs to Him. They state that the person does not have any control over matters and therefore declares that he has no might or power or any ability, except when his supporter is Allah, the Exalted. If Allah wills that something will befall you, no one can save you from it, because there is no escape or shelter from the will of Allah, the Exalted, except through Him. Granting a person His shelter and protection is only possible when He so wills.
