التعريف :


Tangible and foul impurity, such as urine.

المعنى الاصطلاحي :


Corruption that harms one"s soul or body physically or spiritually.

الشرح المختصر :


"Khubth" is a repugnant and blameworthy trait, which renders anything that involves it malicious and detestable, whether it is something physical or abstract. It includes anything that is corrupt, such as false beliefs, lies, evil actions, and harmful foods and drinks. Categories of things: a) good and wholesome with nothing bad. b) bad with nothing good. c) involving both good and bad. Negative effects of "khubth": 1. It encourages one to use foul and obscene language. 2. It incites enmities among members of the society. 3. It causes one to be mean in this life and doomed in the Hereafter. 4. A person with this trait has bad manners and harsh nature and cannot be lived or got along with. 5. It spoils one"s deeds and harms one"s body. 6. It prevents one from entering Paradise.

التعريف اللغوي المختصر :


"Khubth": corruption. "Khabeeth" and "Khābith": anything that is corrupt. Original meaning: awfulness, badness. "Khabeeth": unlawful things such as fornication, harmful things such as poison, impurities such as urine, foul animals such as snakes, and detestable things. Opposite: "tayyib" (good, kind). Other meanings: undesirability, all types of evil such as disbelief, disobedience, and the like.
