الشرح المختصر :
"Kalaam" (speech) consists of words used to express a meaning through which the intent is understood. According to the scholars of Fiqh, "kalaam" refers to all types of "kalaam", even if it is composed of a single letter, and regardless of whether it gives a valid meaning or not.
التعريف اللغوي المختصر :
"Kalaam" (sing. kalimah [word]): speech. In principle, "kalaam" is defined as successive sounds which produce a comprehensible meaning, whether they are many or a few.
